At Copa NOVA BJJ, we take safety serious and consider it priority 1. Referees are responsible with the task of officiating in a dynamic and complex set of circumstances. All this while keeping track of points and following the Copa NOVA rule set. With this in mind, referees have the final word and there is no exception to this policy. Please be respectful to our officials as it directly affects the quality of our tournament.

Please download the PRE-REGISTRATION KIT for a detailed outline of the rules for each division we offer. We have included an extra attachment to the rules which is a quick comparison table illustrating the general differences between gi & no-gi divisions as well as experience levels.
